copy and paste a mystery

#1 Post by Helmut626 » 28.07.2016, 16:58

Hi - Just got and installed FreedomCommander 64 bit on my Windows 7 computer. I bought the program for one reason: to copy 12000 files ending with *.mus to another drive. I did the search, Commander found the files. I selected them all and when I highlight the I drive to which I want to copy the files the paste command is greyed out. Any help with the process would be highly appreciated. Helmut

I think this could be done using the Folder-Synchronize functionality.
In the left pane goto some empty target folder
In the right pane goto your source folder.
Enter "Folder-Synchronize" from menu
Then goto its Filters tab, there select file filter "include files" with "*.*". This entry can be edited to "*.mus"
In the "Files tab" use the "Synchronize" button.
All your files should now get selected on right side.
Check closely that everything has been detected alright. Then try synchronize.
That should copy your files to destination.

Check the manual for more info.
