Invalid 'error' message on program start

#1 Post by Bains » 06.12.2017, 16:40

Installed latest version.

Every time that the program is loaded I get a message "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive F.

Drive F is a USB port and does not have a drive installed. If I ignore this error the program runs as expected.

This issue was not in prior release. Is this a bug or a residual element from the prior release?

How do I eliminate this 'error' message?

Thank you.

What is your Windows version?
Could you send me your freecommander.ini file?

Hold off on your analysis -- today the problem seems to have disappeared -- no error message when program is started.

I will post in another couple of weeks if the issue is gone completely.

Problem is back -- drive letter shifted from "F" to "G".

Program runs fine but startup error message seems to be be persistent.

Try to activate the option "Show removable drives only with disk" .

That suggestion seems to have worked.

Thank you.
