thumbnails for rtf files

Hi,
I've been trying without success to get proper thumbnails for rtf files in FreeCommander.
It doesn't seem possible in windows file explorer, on windows 7 or 10.
In FreeCommander, I got somewhat of a result by adding "rtf" to "Settings/View/Thumbnails/Make thumbnails for text files".
However, it shows the files as text files, so includes all formatting characters which is not useful for me.
I would like to have a thumbnail preview of the rtf file as if opened in rtf mode.
Is there anyway to do this in FreeCommander?
I am using XE 2016 Build 716 64-bit donor.
