Is there a plan for HiDPI support?

Environment: 4K monitor, Windows 10, scale 150% (default)
Other than the title bar, the rest is blurry. Some of it can be improved with Properties -> HighDPI scaling override -> System (Enahanced), but it's still not perfect and it's just the OS trying to compensate for an application that does not natively support HiDPI.
4K monitors have been around for a while now. Is there a plan to properly support HiDPI in the near future?

- Open the properties of the freecommander.exe file in your install folder.
- Change to Compatibility tab
- Set the DPI settings to the optimal value for you

Right, I've tried all and there's no optimal value. "System(Enhanced)" improves the menus, but the file list is always fuzzy.
Has anyone achieved "retina quality" on a 4K monitor similar to FileExplorer through some magic configuration?
Back to the original question, is it a major effort to upgrade libraries or something and look like the native applications?

Last Windows 10, I see no big problem (Windows 8 and older Windows 10 provide worse results).
Laptop 1920X1080, 150%
4K monitor 3840x2160, 200%
Back to the original question, is it a major effort to upgrade libraries or something and look like the native applications?
If that was easy I would have done that long ago.
I keep working on the topic but that will be longer.

I see, thanks for getting back yo me.
In your case the 1920x1080 resolution may play a role. At 3840x2160, the difference in clarity is significant, as below. Let me know if there's any additional tuning that could help. All I did so far is override the HiDPI settings with "System(enhanced)". And yes, my Windows is up-to-date.
