PDF thumbnails (every size) appears as blank objects.
I've tried to refresh, reboot FC & reboot computer

On reflesh or folder changes, all files appears as PDF Icons but thumbnails becomes blank after every file is updated\processed.

Windows explorer (& other file managers) show images as usual.

JPG thumbnails works ok on FC.

FreeCommander XE 2020 Build 828 64-bit donor, Windows 10 Pro 64bit 2004 (19041.450)

Thank you

Hi again,

No ideas or suggestions?
I tried to uninstall/install Adobe pdf reader and even FC to an older version (build 820) but the issue is still the same.

Am I the only one experiencing this problem?

Can't confirm, I tested multiple PDF viewers few months ago and had no problem.

Are you using the latest version of the Adobe pdf reader?

If Explorer shows the thumbnails, it should work also in FC, so it's strange.

What about PDF files, are they from the same source, are they standard PSF files?

You could try to install another PDF viewer, or upload some sample, so we could test.

Also cannot confirm,
For me Thumbnails are shown for pdf and other file types, FC just works

Maybe you need to configure FC so that your PDF Software is used as an external editor

Code: Select all

Code: Select all

C:\Program Files\Your PDF Software Folder\Your PDF Software.exe

Code: Select all

Maybe you need to check your settings for thumbnails, not that pdfs are excluded or something similar.

There you can also configure FC to show Thumbnails for text based files. I don't know how to get that in Windows Explorer.

The above are just suggestion, no guarantee. Hope you find a solution. Hope it's not some mix-up of your thumbnail handlers in the registry. For that kind of thing you'll need expertise from someone other than myself.

Best Regards
