It looks that any EXIF info is missing in the status bar, to reproduce add for example this one:
Same info is show for the same image in column profile.
FC 829 64-bit donor, Windows 10 2004 64-bit.

Thanks for testing.
I changed Windows Regional format option to other language and back few times and now it works good, it's strange, but Windows is strange.
Closed.

OK, so this bug is back, now I can reproduce it.
To reproduce try:
- In Windows settings - Regional format: English (World) (you can change it temporary if you can't reproduce, PC restart is not needed)
- main FC instance with custom settings is running, EXIF works good
- I created new FC portable copy, empty settings, just with color schemes
- started new portable FC - 2nd instance from 1st FC instance
= no EXIF info in the 2nd instance, while it works in 1st instance same time, same image!
- now just restart 2nd FC instance
= EXIF is working!
- I closed 2nd FC instance, deleted all files from Settings folder
- started 2nd FC instance
= no EXIF info in the 2nd instance again!
- restarted 2nd FC instance
= EXIF is working again!
- I can always reproduce it this way, tested 3x

Could you please show us how you got that string in the status bar. I would find that very useful, thanks.

Thank you, yes of course I should have thought of that resource.
Had to change Regional format to something and back again like to said and restart FC to get JPG EXIF to show. MP3 was OK though!

So can you reproduce the original bug? What about these steps?
