591 - FrCXE copy does NOT properly copy desktop.ini files

#1 Post by AEN007 » 05.08.2012, 17:28

5August2012

I recently noticed that the FrCXE copy function does NOT copy the (hidden/system) desktop.ini files
when "show system files" is disabled. This is a very common problem with custom/nonMSWin copy functions.

I first noticed this when I was using the FrCXE copy function between some UNC locations ...
by the way, I still cannot configure FrCXE to NOT auto-refresh UNC drives ...

... also because I am here right now I would like to mention that
FrCXE does NOT respond to the AltGr key (common to Tastaturen auf Deutsch) ...
Some apps/utils do ... some do not ...
I think it would be great if FrCXE did respond to the AltGr key (which is a combo Alt-Ctrl key)
and that FrCXE should respond to the AltGr key - especially because FrCXE kommt auch aus Deutschland ... nicht wahr?

After the FrCXE copy function completes - with some error messages -
it seems to me the "Cancel" button could/should change and say "Close" ...
