If I bring up the Settings dialog and specify colors for some file types, that works fine. However, if I bring up the Settings dialog a second time and try to set some more colors for different file types, it has no effect. Bringing up the dialog again shows the first set of colors; the second set are ignored.
The problem also occurs with the standard config (I temporarily removed my config files). If I close FreeCommander and manually add the colors to FreeCommander.ini, they do then take effect, so it appears to be a problem with the GUI failing to update the colors.
601 - cannot set item colors
Re: 601 - cannot set item colors
It works good here, perhaps the screenshot with settings dialog would help...
Re: 601 - cannot set item colors
Yes, I can reproduce the bug - fixed for the release 602.If I bring up the Settings dialog and specify colors for some file types, that works fine. However, if I bring up the Settings dialog a second time and try to set some more colors for different file types, it has no effect. Bringing up the dialog again shows the first set of colors; the second set are ignored.
Now you have two possibilities:
- define all your colors, when the list "color by file type" is empty
- edit freecommander.ini (section ItemColorsByFileType)
Re: 601 - cannot set item colors
How colors are coded? I am not able to guess how the colors are coded at the freecommander.ini at section ItemColorsByFileType.
Thanks in advance!
