Hi,
I'm using version 0.0.0.601 and FreeCommander crashes after opening a link file, without any exception. It doesn't depend on file type or view mode. This bug is new from this version, I'm sure nothing like that was happening in the previous beta versions.
Good luck when solving this and other problems, FreeCommander is by far my most favourite file manager

Re: 601 - crash when opening *.lnk file
What means "FreeCommander crashes after opening a link file"?
Tried to open .lnk file by F3, F4, launch by Enter, view Properties..., Attributes/Timestamps... - everything works fine, no crashes.

Re: 601 - crash when opening *.lnk file
Well, opening properties and launching with F3 works, but it's not what I really want when opening a link... Crash means FreeCommander shuts down immediately without any warning or crash report, doesn't matter if I'm opening it with a doubleclick or Enter. I'm really not familiar with bug reports for FC, is there any way to log and post some details?
Edit: I forgot to say that the designated link launches, but it's a bit annoying to start FC after each launch.
Edit2: Oh, and I found out that right-click -> Open works without a problem, so that solves it partially... But still there is a bug...
