Rel314: Junctions are followed to the real-destination

#1 Post by Mr-Fly » 10.01.2008, 11:40

Hi.

If you have junctions (in my situation on Windows XP Professional) and you enter the directory, which is actually a junction, freecommander will follow to the real-destination instead of the junctioned one.
Example:
junction c:\testfolder d:\my documents\testfolder_real
(junction is a tool from sysinternals to produce junctions)

go to c:\ and tap on "testfolder".
FC will jump to d:\my documents\testfolder_real instead of c:\testfolder.
If you use Windows Explorer or Command Line, it will be done the "right way".

Kind Regards
Thorsten
