632 - F5/F6 Fail When Using Windows To Copy/Move Files

#1 Post by DG » 02.08.2013, 14:27

Using FCXE 632, Windows 7 Enterprise

Settings for File/folder operations: Use Windows for delete, move and copy.

Attempted action: Press F5 to copy, or F6 to move, a file from one panel to the other.

Result: Error message that "The file name you specified is not valid or too long. Specify a different file name."

Change the settings to Use FC and the function keys F5/F6 work.

DG

Can't reproduce in FC XE 6323 (not released yet) in Windows XP Pro Rus 32 bit.
F5/F6/F8 works fine in both "Use Windows" and "Use FC" modes.

"Use Windows" is broken if using the mouse for starting operation, Enter works fine.

Fixed for the release 633.
