Multiple edit call from search dialogue isn't working (anymore?)

#1 Post by budul » 25.07.2017, 19:40

Hello,

I am using "FreeCommander XE 2017 Build 749 64-bit donor" on Windows 7. I am convinced that the described functionality was working earlier (but I am not absolutely sure).

How to retrace the behaviour:
1) Start the search dialogue in the FC.
2) Make a seach which shows in the result multiple files.
3) Select all found files.
4) Click the dit button in the search dialogue (or just click <F4>).

=> Only the first file will be opened in the respective editing application (i.e. Notepad).

As far as I remember all selected file were opened in the earlier versions of the FC. But probably I am wrong, then it is not a bug report ;)

Regards
budul

I think, F4 opens one file.
Simply make right click on selected files and select open.
