FreeCommander freezes / locks up when deleting empty folder from tree pane
Posted: 08.08.2017, 17:01
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open FreeCommander and go to any local drive.
2. Turn on folder tree display.
3. Hit F10 to go to one panel mode.
4. Create a new folder and go into that folder so that it appears in the tree pane and it is selected.
5. Right-click the newly created empty folder in the tree pane and select Delete.
Notice FreeCommander locks up. The only way to close FreeCommander at this point is to open the Windows Task Manager and kill the process.
Note: If the directory to be deleted is not selected in the tree pane FreeCommander does not lock up.
I'm running Windows 10 Creator's Update (version 1703), 64b-bit and FreeCommander XE 2017, Build 750 64-bit donor. This problem also occurs with Build 740 and Windows 10 Anniversary Edition.
Note: If I run the program using default settings the problem doesn't happen. I don't have any plug-ins installed, but I have changed many of the options and colors. Please contact me for my configuration settings backup. Thanks.
