It's not a bug, you can assign an icon, click the [..] item, 2x if needed.

No, see the image of the post. The toolbar shows I have an icon applied.
But there's none displayed in the settings. This is a bug.

OK, now I see what you mean, moved back.
Confirmed in 816 donor.
In the favorite toolbars dialog the custom icons are shown, so perhaps it could be fixed.

Cheers for testing.
Perhaps Marek, an indicator could show which are custom icons could be added also along with this fix.
