First, thanks for this new feature, it will be really useful.
However, it does not work good.
To reproduce:
- use default settings, probably not needed
- assign the keyboard shortcuts for all 4 new functions Focus newest file / newest item / previous item / next item
- go to folder with many subfolder, files, or/and use a small FC window, scrollbar must be visible
- use list view, or/and details view
- use the keyboard shortcuts to go to previous/next/newest item (or newest file)
= column/position is not updated if the target item is not visible in the active panel

829 - Focus newest/previous/next position issue
Re: 829 - Focus newest/previous/next position issue
Workaround - if you want to use it before fix - press up and down arrow keys in list/details view, or left/right in thumbnails view.

Re: 829 - Focus newest/previous/next position issue
First of all, thanks for a great feature - it's very useful.
I have a question regarding this.
I expected that "focus previous/next item" will jump to previous/next item by last access timestamp, not to previous/next item in the folder.
I mean, when I jump to the newest item, I can simply go to the previous/next items using arrows - it wasn't needed new action for this.
Do I miss something?

petar_1970 - "focus previous/next item" work good, it was added for different purpose, if you need to show more than 1 new item, use sorting by time.
