Sorting the details view by size does not work for folders.

Works OK for me (win7x64sp1/fcxe613).

It works good here, too.

Build 613, Win Vista 32 bit.

Does it work for you, BGM, if you enable File/Folder List > Sorting tab
[x] Folders Like Files ?

Note that folders and files sort together then.
(It works for me in FC-XE 613; Win7/64.)

Oh - maybe that would do it. For some reason, I thought I should be able to NOT sort them together, yet be able to sort them by file size separately. Maybe that can't be done...

Dreamer, yes, exactly (except for the funky colours ).

That's exactly how it works for me with these settings:

I use the same options, except Natural sorting and it works good.

Sometimes it's not auto-refreshed, so try to refresh manually.

Joby, Dreamer, ah - that was it. I had "Sort folders always by name" - I didn't realize it would override the manual sorting in details view.

It works now as expected.
