Copy from Zip Subfolder is Wrong

#1 Post by BGM » 14.05.2014, 02:08

I'm running version build 653 of the 32 bit FCXE on Windows 7 Pro x64.

In the left panel I open a zip folder and navigate to a subfolder and use the Copy (Windows mode) button in my splitter bar to extract the files to a normal directory in the other panel.
The files get extracted all right, but any files that are in subfolders get extracted to a new folder that receives the name of the zip-subfolder's parent. The subfolders get copied, but they are all empty.

I've noticed if I select the files in the zip-subfolder and right drag (with FC's + icon) the files and choose "copy here" I get the same result.

In my settings, under Archiver plugins I have fcZip checked and it is the first plugin and is set to handle .zip extensions.

I think this is a bug. It's bugging me!

Ah - I just realized I was behind a few versions.

I installed version 660 and everything is hunky-dory.
