[661] Issue: The file/folder name is not valid

#1 Post by Nova » 29.05.2014, 18:08

Hello,

I've found a problem with this release: as soon as I try to rename a older, I get the error

"The file/folder name is not valid <New folder name>"

Of course, I can rename the file in Explorer normally.
I'm using FC XE version 661 donor, X64

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Regards

P.S. why didn't you posted this new in the "New beta version" discussion?

Give us some example. Which names are not accepted?

I confirmed the same action, if I rename folder "Folder-xx" to "Folder-x" in the file list display, I get the Invalid File Name message.

However, if I try the same rename in the Tree display, it works normally.

The action is the same in Beta 661 x86 and x64. The message occurs for both files and folders in the file display.

Same with me. Any local or network file or folder cannot be renamed. Reverted back to 660.
