Copying from one zip to another

#1 Post by BGM » 24.08.2012, 22:05

I just opened one zip file in the first panel and another zip file in the second panel. I have discovered that I cannot copy files out of one zip and into the other. I tried using the context menu, and I tried using the splitter bar. It just doesn't do anything; that is, it doesn't even try to copy and doesn't give me any error message, either.

Confirmed (FC-598, Win7-64).
Could you do this in previous versions?

Ha! I'm not sure if I ever tried. How about you? I just noticed that I can't do it now, and it seems to me to be a nice idea.

I've never tried it myself. But as I recall, there have been previous posts about limited accessibility to zip files. You might search for that and take it from there.
