Win 8: deleting a file...

#1 Post by Nova » 17.07.2013, 12:00

Hello,

in windows 8, Windows explorer is not asking anymore for confirmation before deleting a file; it justs deletes it, then you can press CTRL+Z (undo) to restore it.
I noticed this is not available in FreeCommander: deleting a file will not ask confirmation either, but pressing CTRL+Z will not restore it... :(

Any plan to introduce this? Any idea?
Thanks in advance.

I've been using FC for years and undelete has never been implemented, I don't understand why not. Hopefully this feature will be added soon. Even with this, to me, obvious shortcoming, FC and now FCXE is by far the best file manager, free or paid, out here.

By the way... I'm also thinking that FC (XE) is _the_ best file manager out there... :D
Some minor fixes... and it will be great!
