Give option to hide ".zip" files from left pane folder tree

#1 Post by vsrawat » 16.11.2014, 07:10

.zip files appear in left pane as folders.

This clutters the left pane too much.

I think previously there was a hack regsvr32 /u %windir%\system32\zipfldr.dll that prevented windows explorer from showing zip files in tree, but that is not working now in w8.

Please give some option within fc to hide ".zip" files appearing in left pane folder tree.

Thanks.

Have you checked the existend options first?
Settings - Tree - Management: Show Windows archive files

Oh, it is already there. I was hoping so.

I had even checked several options. but couldn't locate it.

Seems there had been so many options, and then panes in option that it has become quite difficult to figure out where to find what. Some thought might be given to reorganize these options.

Thanks for pointing me to the the right place.

Thanks.

I'm currently working on an overhaul of the English language user interface (UI) strings. It won't change the organization at all, but I'm hoping it will help make the options more clear. I'm making the terminology clear, consistent, and concise throughout the UI. If Marek likes my work, he will include it in future builds.
