Make FreeCommander delete an entire word while holding CTRL

#1 Post by AXK » 20.07.2018, 23:17

The app is in the top 3 of its kind, but one thing it won't do is delete an entire word while holding down CTRL, for example when renaming files. All modern apps/UIs do this, could it be implemented?

Also, when I press Shift-Del but cancel the operation, FC displays another dialogue that says the user canceled the operation. Any chance to make that not appear? I already know I canceled it. Thanks a lot.

In all editors and applications I use, Ctrl+Del removes all text from the cursor position to the end of the line.
The same way works it for rename in FC.

That is good, but all modern apps / UIs use Ctrl+Backspace to delete one word. It cannot be that hard to implement.
