Can this do what Windows Explorer does and just automatically remove these without a warning.
I get caught out sometimes when I copy text and it has a whitespace at the start.
FC then allows this in the foldername or filename.

Perhaps an option for that lone ranger (no offence meant) ... I can't see how that's useful but each to their own as you rightly say.
