Multi-Prozessor/Multi-Threaded

#1 Post by Mr-Fly » 27.03.2020, 17:00

Hi,

If I saw it correctly, FC is not using Multi-Threaded for some features, like Zipping, copying etc.?
Are there any plans to do so?
Would help a lot if zipping eg. to seperate Files.

Regards

Mhhh.
Looks like my zipping today (10 GB, multiple directories, every directory to a single file) did not use multiple cores?
It took hours, although there would have been a lot more CPU and packing was full on SSD?
