Unusual behavior

#1 Post by pstrg » 22.06.2020, 02:10

First time user.
Fine interface and features.
Noted a drawback that (in my case) interferes with operations I do very often.

If one tries to rename a folder but a file within that folder is in use by another program, Windows Explorer presents a pop-up named Folder In Use informing of the conflict and suggesting the user to close the open file and try again.
If one closes the file, then hits the Try Again button of the pop-up, the renaming occurs as intended.

Instead of that, FreeCommander just says Operation failed and one has to start typing the new name all over again.

Emulating such a desirable Explorer behavior couldn't become an interesting new feature?
