825 - Open multiple files in plain view (2-15)

#1 Post by Dreamer » 26.07.2020, 01:43

To reproduce:
- select 2-15 mp3 files
- press Enter to open them
- files are opened in default player, AIMP, correct

- add few files to 2 or more folders
- enable plain view, ctrl+b
- select 2-15 mp3 files from different folders
- press Enter to open them
= files are opened in WMP

In Explorer, quick search, select files from different folders, press Enter, they are opened in default player, AIMP, it works good there.

Tested with FC 825 64-bit donor portable, Windows 10 64-bit 2004, default mp3 player is AIMP.

It's partly fixed in 827, it works with .mp3 and AIMP.

Anyway, it doesn't work when using these file formats and these programs set as default.

.lng files + PSPad = broken, wrong path, last 2 folders missing, empty content
.mp3 + foobar2000 = broken
.mp3 + PotPlayer = broken

Could you test it too, if it works, please? With these 3 it's broken for me (Windows 10 Home 64-bit 2004), but Marek can't reproduce it with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit 2004. Please write your OS version - Home/Pro, 2004/1909/1903...

Could you please check the following:

- on the left site open the install Foobar2000 folder
- on the right site open the plain view with some mp3 files
- select all mp3 files
- drag the selected files to the left site and drop on the foobar2000.exe

What is your result?

It works good, tested with blocking transfer enabled and disabled, also with default settings.
