832 - Position issues in list view

#1 Post by Dreamer » 24.11.2020, 21:58

This bug is related with this one: 831 - Position issue when switching modes in plain view - FreeCommander Forum

It's related also with this one reported via email:
8289 - Wrong column position in list view with mouse click
- To reproduce:
- use my setting files from previous version
- use list view and many files with the width like on the screenshot
- focus the first file
- now click the icon of the file in second column
- focus is changed to correct item in the second column, but...
= column is not changed, so the current item name is not fully visible
= column is not updated also if you click the filename in the second column, file is opened, but column is not updated, even if you close the other program, so FC is inactive and active again, you can test with jpg or txt, open it in small Notepad window
To reproduce:
- use my settings (use list view and lock view, if needed)
- use list view and many files (300+) with the width like on the screenshot
fcScreenshot_08312020_215246.png
- focus 1st item from second column, so that second column is fully visible
- now press F11
= position is wrong, first column with focused file is invisible
- press down and up arrow to focus correct file
- press F11 again to switch back to window mode
= position is wrong (as on the screenshot)
- press down and up arrow to fix view

- now maximize window (this is the same as with fullscreen)
= position is wrong, first column with focused file is invisible
- press down and up arrow to focus correct file
- restore window to window mode
= position is wrong (as on the screenshot)

- focus 1st item from second column, so that second column is fully visible
- press F12 and Enter
= position is wrong (as on the screenshot)

- in window mode select last 2 files
- delete these files
= position is wrong, it's at the first column, last file is focused, but it's invisible
- press up and down arrows to fix position
- now press F11 twice
= position is wrong, it's at 4th column, last item is focused, but it's invisible

832-8 test

Thanks, Marek, partly fixed in 8329, except these (some are different):
- use my settings (use list view and lock view, if needed)
- focus 1st item from second column, so that second column is fully visible
- now maximize window (this is the same as with fullscreen)
= position is wrong, first column with focused file is invisible
- press down and up arrow to focus correct file
- restore window to window mode
= position is wrong (as on the screenshot)
- use my settings (use list view and lock view, if needed)
- focus 1st item from second column, so that second column is fully visible
- press F12 and Enter
= focus is lost, changed to [..] item

OK, I think I got it, it works good when I click to maximize/restore button, but it's wrong if using double click to title bar to maximize/restore window.
