Does FreeCommander have favorites for folders and customizable toolbar buttons for them? Can we customize the icons for favorites buttons?

Yes, you can add a folder to the favorite tools toolbar.

It's not obvious.
If you don't have a favourite tools on your FC toolbar, you must go to settings>view>toolbar. At the bottom clic on the icon left to "favourite tools toolbar". Then define a tool and check at left bottom "toolbar visible". Check your toolbar : now favorite tools has been added.
If you already have "favourite tools" on toolbar, then drag and drop a folder icon to the favourite tools toolbar while pressing ALT key, and the job is done.
Good night !

i wish adding favorites button was easier. such as by an option that adds existing favorites folders as a toolbar instead of having to create another set of favorites folders as tools.
