Hello,
Auto selectable views is a killer functionality that I use intensively for dedicated folders (like music, video, etc.)
They trigger a respective column profile highlighting relevant columns.
Problem : auto selected column profile doesn't seem to be overridable
(something I hadn't witness in previous releases ; 'can't tell exactly when)
This is quite obliterating the value of auto-views because it happens even with <Default view> and default column profile (so basically always)
and one often wants to switch to another column profile when one detects some oddity (in order to typically to expose various creation/update/access dates, consolidate size and number of files, etc.)
Could you please restore overridable column profiles ? (I mean : column profiles should always be available for interactive change whatever the automated selection)
Thanks
K.

If you mean right click to column header - column profiles - selecting any item, I can reproduce it, it's not changed.

Re: b913 x64 : make column profile overridable after auto selected view
Hello Dreamer,
Yes, that's the point : as it is an auto selected view, I can apply no other column profile (which ultimately makes auto selected views too constrained a feature)
Do you plan to make column profile override current selection ?
Thanks

Re: b913 x64 : make column profile overridable after auto selected view
Please wait for Marek for a solution, fix.
Workaround: Assign a keyboard shortcut for command "Activate auto selectable views", e.g. Ctrl+Alt+A, or make a toolbar button for this command and use it to switch Auto views, if disabled, it's possible to change column profile.
