Good Day,
Using FreeCommander 2007.10
Could You Please answer the following:
(1). Is there any way of changing the keyboard shortcut for Folder Size (currently <ctrl> <F9>)....
..to the <space> key (a la TotalCommander)?
(2). Is there a way to disable full row select?
(3). When using Search, & searching for both files & directories...
..Is there a way to get an icon displayed for directories in the search results?
This is to enable fast & easy differentiation between files & directories in the search results, without having to look at the Size column.....
Thank You Very much,
Best wishes,
Roberta

Currently the space key shows the size of focused folder and Ctrl+F9 makes nearly the same.(1). Is there any way of changing the keyboard shortcut for Folder Size (currently <ctrl> <F9>)....

No, maybe in the next version.(2). Is there a way to disable full row select?
Now it is not possible.(3). When using Search, & searching for both files & directories...
..Is there a way to get an icon displayed for directories in the search results?

<OFFTOPIC>
First of all, I would like to express enournous thanx to the author of the programe! Recently I decided to use only licenced or free software on my computer - matter of conscience and belief. FreeCommander is a very good free substitute for my old file manager Total Commander. I hope it will always be free. Unfortunately I can not donate to author, I am a student and I don't work yet. But let this will not discourage you - good things that you do in life will always return to you. May God bless you!

Could you please advise me how to make a button on my panel to toggle hide/show hidden system files. Or is it something that can't be done and may be included in future versions?
Appreciate your help, Sasha (Kyiv, Ukraine)

Re: need advice
It's not possible, you can use only the keyboard shortcut - it's customizable. You can also right click the status bar and use the menu options.zal wrote:Could you please advise me how to make a button on my panel to toggle hide/show hidden system files.
