Favorites tree lacks a folder expansion hover delay

Trying to organize favorites by dragging them in the Favorites tree unintentionally expands any category/folder that they barely touch, as there is a non-existent folder expansion delay upon mouse hover. So you end up expanding everything as you drag an item, whether you want to or not. Why isn't there a standard or user-definable delay, or if there is, where is it? Thank you.

To give you a better idea, see the GIF below.
(The jitter at the end is the result of dropping the dragged object - the whole tree does a sort of quick double refresh.)

It is very simply to avoid opening the category.
Drag the item not above the category caption but next to it.

No it's not. The only way to possibly avoid expanding neighboring categories you don't want open is to perform the move very quickly and precisely. But you shouldn't have to avoid anything - the categories shouldn't be auto-expanding when you merely glance by them. At least not with such a short hover delay. Windows Explorer and most other folder/tree-like interfaces in existence don't behave like that. FC's Favorites tree should simply follow suit.

@Marek - Please add an option in the settings to disable hover-expansion of categories in the Favorites tree.

Mouse dragging on the right side works correctly for me - the category nodes are not expanded.
However, I added a small delay for opening category nodes.
