903: Compute Checksums "Copy to clipboard" button does not always work

In the "Compute Checksums" dialog box, the "Copy to clipboard" button does not work when comparing a file's checksum to a known checksum and the checksums do not match. In this case, it will be useful for that button to copy the checksum of the file to the clipboard.

Confirmed. “Copy to clipboard” button does not work when checksums do not match.

In this case, you can only see the column with the checksum, but finding the difference with your eyes is an impossible task (even though this doesn’t make much sense, since the data is clearly wrong).

Although, of course, it is clear that there is something wrong with the file and it is not safe to use it.

If it is not possible to copy the error, including the checksum, to the clipboard, make the “Copy to clipboard” button inaccessible in case of an error.

BTW, one common use case for copying the actual checksum of the file is for reporting purposes.

For example, let's say you download FreeCommander and the checksum of the downloaded file does not match what is posted. It may be useful to be able to quickly provide the developer with the checksum of the downloaded file so the developer can see if the file is corrupt on their server (or if they made an error with the checksum they posted). There are other ways to accomplish this task, but that button will ideally work for cases such as this.
