635 pp - Same folder like the other panel

This bug have been present through many earlier versions and still exists (I think, it is a bug):

If View -> Drives -> General -> "Show drives as popup button" option checked, the "Same folder like the other panel" option on "Select Drive" panel does not work. (Selecting a new drive from the dropdown list gives me the root folder regardless of the other panel's path.)

However if "Show drives as button bar" checked, the "Same folder like the other panel" option works well. (Clicking a drive button gives the same folder on the other panel.)

I also think it's a bug (well that you mentioned it, it's rather tired)

But in my configuration in Windows XP SP3 things are not quite so

"Same folder like the other panel" is selected on "Select Drive" panel
View -> Drives -> General -> "Show drives as popup button" option is NOT checked
Selecting the same drive from the dropdown list (with Alt-F1 or Alt-F2) gives me the root folder regardless of the other panel's path, but clicking a drive button gives the same folder on the other panel.
But if I change drive from the dropdown list (with Alt-F1 or Alt-F2) to any other drive (NOT THE SAME AS IN OTHER PANEL) or to 0:Desktop or to 1: Network Neighborhood and after that try to return to THE SAME DRIVE as in other panel, then the same folder on the other panel would be given.

I haven't tried the scenario you'd mentioned (using Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit work comp), but I suspect this bug may has nothing to do which MS OS used(?). I will try on XP what you wrote, if I see one.

Still NOT working as expected in FC XE 637. NC-Mode is used.

Yeah. I reckon it's not a groundshaking issue, but it still bugs me, I don't like the drive buttons - have almost 15 drive letters because of network drives. Getting the root folder every time can be very annoying, so I keep tabs to get around.
